Packaging
Right off the bat, the Ora Lelo 3 gets a perfect score for packaging. As a really big fan of simple and sleek designs, it struck the minimalist chord in me when I first saw the box it came in.
It’s all-black and pretty sturdy, which makes it look luxurious. There’s a small window in the middle through which the Lelo Ora 3 sits in all its glory. It almost looks like an expensive perfume at first glance. It’s one of the most uniquely shaped toys I own, in comparison to everything else I have in my sex toy arsenal.
Of course, I went with purple. You can never have enough purple-colored women’s sex toys.
Aside from the toy itself, the box comes with: a satin case that you can put it in if you plan to travel, a lube sample, a cable for charging, and a full set of instructions to know exactly where and how to use the toy.
Honestly, if I had to judge it by the packaging alone, it would win the Devine Award. From the silky, smooth feel to the touch, to the all-black look, it’s got everything I like to see.
Specs
The Lelo Ora 3 hops on its own hype train by calling itself ‘the world’s most sophisticated oral sex simulator’ on the market.
I’ll bite.
These are the basics:
- It comes in three colors: aqua, midnight rose, and deep purple. They are all matte with a glossy finish on the ABS gold-colored plastic;
- It weighs 117.5g or 4.1oz;
- Its dimensions are 75 x 43 x 80mm or 2.9 x 1.7 x 3in.
The Ora Lelo 3 is shaped like a really big ring with a bulbous top. On the bottom of the toy, there’s a little nub that pokes out – the oral stimulator. It feels very smooth to the touch. In fact, it’s pretty much the softest silicone I’ve ever felt.
I’d give it one minus because of the ABS plastic that coats the inside of the ring. I always prefer full silicone over anything plastic, but alas.
If anything, at least your fingers can easily get a firm grip on it and hold it in place.
Just above the little handle nub, there are three symbols: +, () and –.
It’s pretty easy to use: the plus increases the speed, the minus lowers it, and the parentheses are used to cycle through the various vibration modes.
One thing the instructions make very clear is that if you press the plus and minus at the same time for 5 seconds, it’s gonna lock in the device – and you can do the same motion to unlock it again.
Lelo Ora 3 offers an ‘intense’ vibration setting, which can be activated by holding down the parentheses for three seconds. Sadly, I didn’t feel much of a difference between that and the toy’s highest setting.
It also has 12 vibration speeds and patterns, so you’ll be free to control each one to your heart’s content. Even on the minimal setting, I was feeling the rhythm of a good tease, and the highest speed mixed with different patterns tossed me into a whirlwind of pleasure.
Longevity is extremely important when dealing with women’s sex toys. You don’t want to be chained to a wall while you’re flicking your bean all the time. Sometimes, enjoying a toy in the shower or outside can give you that extra kick you need.
The Ora Lelo 3 has about an hour of battery life, which is one hour less than what I’d usually want. On the upside, it’s managed to make me climax multiple times by the end of that hour, so the longevity isn’t really a downside.

Waterproof Fun

The Test

Final Thoughts
The Lelo Ora 3 surpassed all my expectations. I once heard it was the only toy capable of eating out. While it’s not 100% similar to someone getting down on you, it’s as close as it gets to the real deal.
Not only is it one of the prettiest and most luxurious-looking toys I own, it also blew all my doubts out of the water when it repeatedly kept my clit satisfied almost every time I used it. I came pretty close to squirting once too, which doesn’t happen with any other toy I own.
